Surly Curmudgeon

The human race divides politically into those who want people to be controlled and those who have no such desire. The former are idealists acting from highest motives for the greatest good of the greatest number. The latter are surly curmudgeons, suspicious and lacking in altruism. But they are more comfortable neighbors than the other sort.

    My favorite part

Every year about this time, I get a strange urge to go see the Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's like my one nod to Halloween. Of course, this is Oklahoma, and I doubt anyone's even playing it. But now, thanks to YouTube, I can see my absolute favorite part anytime I want: the opening credits. I think I'm in love with Lips.

Actually I think that the theater on main street shows t at halloween. That or they just have an annual "Festival of Dr. Frankenfurter Lookalike Contest". Though the last time I noticed the show was a couple of yeaars ago. I really don't look for it much anymore, though it might be a blast if I were just drunk enough with the right group of freinds.

He is right. The theater on Main Street shows it. I should know. I have been twice and the second year I played Frank (they have people mimic out the movie as it is being played).

Dear Lord, we are more alike than I realized. I like RHPS too. I've only done the live version three times in my life, but now that my kids are older, I expect I'll get a chance to do it again.

You can find a list of shows here

And now I'm wondering who was posting with a certain screen name at another message board. Hmmm.....
